We are able to finance your insurance risks through our accounting department. Along with the quotation and other paperwork, an installment plan will be sent explaining this option available to the insured. How does this work you ask? We request 30% of the base premium plus the taxes and fees. All these totaled will make up the down payment required. We ask that the agent pick this up at time of binding and paper signing. This check should be written out to your agency. When we get all the required paperwork signed and faxed in with a request to bind coverage, we will type up a binder and an invoice and these will be faxed back to you. The invoice will be the down payment owed minus your commission. This will allow you and your agency to keep the commission right away and not have to wait for us to credit back the commission. Your agency is on a 30 day account with us, so you have 30 days to get the amount owed on the invoice to our office. It is very good practice to collect that down payment along with obtaining all the signed paperwork. We then will invoice the installments directly to the insured. They will be responsible for making those payments directly to our office. If we have any difficulty collecting those installments that were set up, we will notify your office and possibly send out a Direct Notice of Cancellation to the insured. We are very fair and flexible with the installments and the due dates with the insured. We understand that this is a complicated world and the postal system does not always ship items on the days promised. Please inform your insured that they are welcome to call into our office with any questions or problems with their payments. Again, please note that all the paperwork that we require signed in order to bind coverage may be faxed over for prompt binding of policies. If you choice to mail in the paperwork, we cannot promise that we will be able to bind coverage on the day that you need. Any questions regarding the financing available, please feel free to contact our office at 800-816-0723 or fax 800-816-0729.
